History  

Bowman Orchards is family owned and operated since 1921. A small orchard was started by Adam Bowman and then expanded and presently operated by son, Gerald and his wife, Marilyn. Third generation family members are involved in retail marketing and web site maintenance. 

We have orchards near Bigfork, Montana and also in Kennewick and Moses Lake, Washington. The Kennewick orchard is the first to be harvested beginning around the tenth to fifteenth of June. After that harvest is completed, the cherries ripen in Moses Lake about the first of July. The Montana orchards are usually ready for harvest in late July and run through August, weather permitting.
